As part of Brooks Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour, he was required to make a $5 million charitable contribution. On Tuesday, the PGA Tour and Koepka announced multiple programs who would be recipients of his donation.
Starting with this week’s Cognizant Classic, Koepka is donating $1 million to Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation, the primary charitable recipient of the Cognizant Classic, which is Koepka’s hometown event. He’s set to make his third Tour start since his return this week after a T-56 at the Farmers Insurance Open and a missed cut at the WM Phoenix Open.

Koepka is also donating $1.5 million to these organizations: ALS Bridge Foundation, Baby Quest Foundation, Best Buddies, Hannah’s Home of South Florida, Pageant of Hope, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Foundation, Quantum House, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, The Thomas Healy Hambric Foundation – Beyond the Spectrum and UnLIMBited Foundation. The Tour approved all beneficiaries.
The final $2.5 million will be equally distributed to approved PGA Tour beneficiaries, such as foundation or charities the organization supports. The Tour said eligible members will have the opportunity to select a beneficiary of their choice.
The Tour plans to update on approved player-selected charitable beneficiaries once the selection and vetting process is complete. Those funds will be distributed as soon as possible.
This week will be Koepka’s eighth start at the Cognizant Classic at PGA National, his best finish being a T-2 in 2019. He has five made cuts in seven starts.
