It was also reported that some higher ups from WWE had contacted the Saints in order to land Steiner. With the NFL preseason in full swing, Brock Steiner’s fiance Neva Clark has taken to Instagram to post an update on the football player’s status.

Posting a picture with Steiner at the training camp, she wrote:

Scott Steiner reveals Brock Steiner wants to become a wrestler

WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner is one of the most recognisable wrestlers in the business. He had great stints in various wrestling organisations and lifted all sorts of titles. It is because of him and his brother Rick, that the name Steiner became well known in the wrestling world.

Scott was speaking with ESPN when he was asked about his son’s future in wrestling. Without any hesitation, he said that sky is the limit for him.

“He [Brock] will be a Steiner, so that helps out. But he’s a good athlete so the sky’s the limit for him. I’ll help him out any way I can,” Scott said. “I’m happy for him watching him fulfill his athletic dreams. So once football is over, he’ll do it with wrestling,” he said.

In the same interview, he also implied that Brock would excel in wrestling given his family’s strong ties to the sport. If and when Brock Steiner does make his way to the WWE, it will be interesting to see the kind of plans the company has for him.
