The contract was signed, and it was then confirmed that there were several clauses that were overlooked. The first was that Kaiser’s masked character would not be allowed to touch Chad Gable physically ahead of their match, or he would be unmasked before the bout takes place.

The second was that Andrea would be forced to leave AAA after she assaulted Chad Gable’s character the week before. While both parties protested, the contract had already been signed, so there was nothing more that could be done.

Andrea agreed to leave and adhere to the contract if it meant that Kaiser had a chance to teach Gable a lesson in four weeks.

What does this mean for Ludwig Kaiser moving forward?

Kaiser has become a massive star in AAA over the past few months, but the Mask vs Mask match will ensure that one man will no longer be able to portray the character.

It also means that after the match is over, if Kaiser wins, then his girlfriend should be able to come back; if he loses, it could be that she heads over to RAW or SmackDown with him instead.

Neither man’s career is on the line in the match; they could be forced to leave AAA but they have their unmasked characters to return to since Chad Gable and Ludwig Kaiser still have a future in WWE.

The mask vs mask match was initially expected to take place at WrestleMania, but it seems that WWE wants to try to push for the match to happen for AAA instead in the hopes it will help with ratings. Ludwig Kaiser has done a fantastic job with the El Grande Americano character since Chad Gable’s injury, but now that he’s returned, it’s unclear who will be allowed to keep the character.
