Seth Rollins has lost a lot of major matches in WWE this year

Seth Rollins seemed destined to be a main event star when he started competing as a singles star after splitting from the Shield. He stayed true to those expectations by winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31 and being regularly featured on the company’s main event scene for the next few years. However, that hasn’t been the case for the Visionary in 2026.

After he returned at the Elimination Chamber, Rollins got into a feud with Gunther who was protecting Paul Heyman in return for a favor. Gunther defeated Rollins at WrestleMania with an interference from Bron Breaker, marking Rollins’ first major loss this year. He also lost to Bron Breaker at Backlash in Tampa but was able to beat him twice later on. The loss against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam was Seth’s third PLE loss of the year.

Fans are curious to see how the Visionary will get back his momentum now that he’s back in the ring.
