According to Blake Monoe, there is a relevant reason for her in-ring debut being delayed on SmackDown.
Speaking in an interview on SPORF, Blake Monroe explained that she was way more cruel and mean than anyone in the WWE Women’s Division. She stated that her mean streak was worth being carefully considered by the company before she was unleashed on the active scene.
“I will ruin your life. The rest of the SmackDown women have that in them. They’re there to win a match. I’m there to ruin your psyche. I will make you go home, make you cry and take everything that you love. We are not the same… Now you might understand why WWE are like, ‘we can’t let Blake Monroe loose just yet, because she’s about to upset a lot of people.’”
