Some reports even suggest that The Brahma Bull could return during Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton at ‘Mania to reveal himself as the mastermind behind Pat McAfee’s inclusion in this storyline.

Ahead of this year’s Show of Shows, Ibou of Self Made Pro talked about the possibility of The Rock’s return at WrestleMania 42 during a recent edition of Self Made Sessions. He highlighted that there has been backstage speculation among talent that the current Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton storyline could set up The Final Boss’ return to TV at WrestleMania 43 and not at this year’s Show of Shows.

However, Ibou mentioned that this was only speculation and that only Ari Emanuel and Dwayne Johnson knew when the latter would get involved in WWE.

“Umm, there have been talent that have speculated that maybe this could lead to something for Dwayne for Saudi ‘Mania, but that’s nothing more than talent speculation just due to the fact that Dwayne and Ari [sic] only know when Dwayne gets involved,” he said.

Roman Reigns praised The Rock’s WWE career

While discussing his wrist watch collection with Nico Leonard on the latter’s YouTube channel, Roman Reigns talked about The Rock. The OTC said that he believed what Rocky did in the wrestling world was “unspoken.”

Reigns added that he feels no one in the pro wrestling world would be able to transition from a wrestler to a Hollywood star as The Brahma Bull did after performing in the squared circle for only a few years.

“Especially what he’s done is unspoken. You know, nobody ever hit the scene like Dwayne did and then was able to just move on to the next thing. You know what I mean? To be able to keep it there like that was perfect. Three or four years of perfection, and then you know, to smoothly transition to the big screen. No one will ever do that. It’ll never happen again,” said Roman Reigns.

It will be interesting to see if The Rock will return to WWE TV anytime soon to set up a possible clash with Roman Reigns.
