Asuka responded to her longtime tag team partner, stating that she would always stand by Sane.

“No matter what, I’ll always be in your corner, Kairi. I’ll never leave you feeling alone,” she wrote.

This was Kairi Sane’s second stint in the global juggernaut. Her first run with the company ended in December 2021. The Pirate Princess returned at Crown Jewel 2023 as a surprise new member of the Damage CTRL. Sane is a former NXT Women’s Champion and a three-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Asuka.

Rhea Ripley shares a message reacting to mass WWE releases

April 24 turned out to be a disastrous day for over 20 WWE Superstars. The company usually lets go of several stars every year as part of budget cuts, and it’s always hard to hear the disheartening news.

The new WWE Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley, was saddened to see many of her colleagues leave the company. She posted a message on X, reacting to the news.

“Today’s been a very sad day… Absolutely guttered for my friends and comrades worst time of the year. Go prove them all wrong!” tweeted Ripley.

Besides Sane, surprising names like Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Alba Fyre, Piper Niven, and more were also let go by the global juggernaut.

Fans and people from the wrestling industry have been showing support to the released stars. It remains to be seen where they end up following their departure from the Stamford-based promotion.
