PSG are facing some uncertainty in goal, with LOSC Lille shot-stopper Lucas Chevalier emerging as a possible solution. The young French goalkeeper is drawing plenty of attention, though Barcelona are also reportedly interested and could provide competition.

While Gianluigi Donnarumma is under contract through 2026, a series of high-profile errors have cast doubt on his long-term future at the club. He has shown flashes of his quality—particularly with strong Champions League performances against Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal—but questions about his consistency remain.

As PSG continue to shift their focus toward young French talent, this offseason could be the right moment to make a change between the posts. According to SportsZone, Chevalier is firmly on the club’s radar, though any move would likely hinge on PSG being able to offload Donnarumma, who has yet to fully convince Luis Enrique.

Manchester United could also be in the mix. Per The Sun, they’re tracking both Chevalier and Royal Antwerp’s Senne Lammens amid growing speculation that André Onana could leave for Saudi Arabia.

ESPN reports, citing sources, that Aston Villa have contacted LOSC Lille about a potential move for 23-year-old Chevalier. He’s seen as a possible replacement for Emiliano Martínez, who is looking to leave the club. Chevalier impressed this past season, particularly in the Champions League, and has been with Lille since the age of 10.

The French club is asking for a fee of around £40 million. PSG are also keeping tabs on him and consider Chevalier a backup option if they can’t agree to a contract extension with Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Meanwhile, Spanish outlet Fichajes reports that Barcelona have recently added Lucas Chevalier to their shortlist of goalkeeper targets. Sporting director Deco is actively searching for a new No. 1, and Chevalier has emerged as a serious candidate.

Still, Barcelona will need to be strategic to make a deal work financially, which could mean offloading one or two players to free up funds. Lille are reportedly seeking between €35 million and €40 million, a price tag currently beyond Barcelona’s budget.
