Elvis Smylie has enjoyed a phenomenal start to his LIV Golf career, emerging victorious under the lights in Riyadh.
Smylie finished on 24-under in LIV Golf Riyadh thanks to rounds of -6, -3, -7 and -8 in the new 72-hole format.

The Australian finished one shot ahead of current LIV Golf champion Jon Rahm, and three shots ahead of Peter Uihlein.
Smylie’s efforts also played a key role in Ripper GC taking home the team title, led by captain Cam Smith.

Smith was overjoyed with Smylie’s display, as was tennis ace Alex de Minaur, who shared his delight for his fellow Australian on social media.
World number six De Minaur wrote on X: “Elvis Smylie! What a debut! Title town. Love your work brother.”
It comes at a fantastic time for the Australian star and indeed Ripper GC, who will soon turn their focus to LIV Golf Adelaide.

The Grange Golf Club represents the next tournament in the 2026 LIV Golf calendar, with Smylie and Smith seeking home glory alongside fellow Australians Marc Leishman and Lucas Herbert.
Katie Boulter gives Alex de Minaur another reason to celebrate
It has been quite the time for De Minaur away from his own efforts on the tennis court.
His fiancée Katie Boulter, who is the British tennis number four, just clinched another title at the Ostrava Open.
She is now a four-time champion on the WTA Tour, with De Minaur among those celebrating her latest success.

De Minaur will now look to follow in her footsteps at the Rotterdam Open, his first event since the Australian Open.

He is the top seed in the Netherlands due to the withdrawal and absence of those above him in the ATP rankings.
Despite that status, however, he has been handed a very tricky draw, beginning with a very tough test against Arthur Fils.
