Alex Bowman was supposed to drive the No. 88 car for JR Motorsports in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series race at Darlington Raceway; however, there has been a change of plans. Bowman is not listed as the driver of the No. 88 car on Saturday with JR Motorsports putting “TBA” on to the entry list.
The Hendrick Motorsports driver has missed two races due to lingering symptoms from vertigo. While Bowman is listed on the NASCAR Cup Series entry list, it is unclear if he will participate at Darlington Raceway this weekend. Last week, Hendrick Motorsports announced Bowman’s replacement on Wednesday morning.

It is also unclear who will drive the No. 88 car for JR Motorsports. Kyle Larson would be an excellent choice after he won in the No. 88 car at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Whether it is Larson or not, it doesn’t appear that Bowman will compete in the O’Reilly Series race at Darlington barring a shocking development.
