AJ Styles was forced to call it quits after losing to Gunther in a ‘career on the line’ match at the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.

The 48-year-old stalwart remained tight-lipped on his future until this past Monday, when he made his return during the go-home edition of RAW before Elimination Chamber.

The Lone Wolf cut an emotional promo, following which he laid his jacket and gloves down on the canvas to signal the end of his WWE chapter.

The entire locker room, including Triple H, came out to give the fan-favorite star a standing ovation while he celebrated his RAW tribute with his family.

After the show, Tama Tonga took to his social media to stake his claim to his finisher, though he didn’t clarify whether he was talking about the Styles Clash or the Phenomenal Forearm.

Michin, who was part of the OC stable, responded to the MFT member, saying Styles has already given her permission to use his move.

“TOO LATE, HE SAID I COULD HAVE IT!!!!”

AJ Styles is going to be a WWE Hall of Famer

During the tribute segment on RAW, The Undertaker made a surprise appearance to announce that AJ Styles will be the newest member of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, WWE didn’t clue Phenomenal One in about his Hall of Fame induction.

He was visibly caught off guard when The Undertaker gave him the news.

AJ Styles will take his rightful place in the Hall of Fame alongside Stephanie McMahon during WrestleMania 42 weekend in Las Vegas.

We at Sportskeeda Wrestling congratulate Allen Neal Jones on an incredible career.
