NXT General Manager Robert Stone reacted to Pearce invading his office with a hilarious message in the comments section of the former NWA star’s post on Instagram.

“WTF Adam????” wrote Stone.

NXT Heatwave was a major event for the brand that took place this past Sunday. Grayson Waller defeated Tony D’Angelo, Zilla Fatu, and Cruz Montana in a Fatal 4-Way match to become the new NXT Champion. Kelani Jordan defeated Kendal Grey to capture the NXT Women’s Championship at Heatwave as well. Kendal Grey will be out of action for the foreseeable future as she has been dealing with vertigo following the loss. Stone became the NXT General Manager earlier this year.

Adam Pearce discusses a potential return to the ring in WWE

WWE RAW GM Adam Pearce recently disclosed whether he was interested in returning to the ring after SmackDown GM Nick Aldis competed against Gunther at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

In an interview with Love Wrestling, Pearce stated that he had no interest in having another match and that fans did not need to see him return to the ring. He also hilariously added that nobody wanted to see him in spandex in the year 2026.

“Less than zero interest in putting on my size 13 Stagecoach boots. I am 48 years old and have no desire to put spandex on. You at home do not need to see a 48-year-old, bald Caucasian Adam Pearce wearing tights in 2026 or beyond. This is something that will detach retinas. So we’re gonna say no. But we will not ever say never,” Pearce said.

Only time will tell if Pearce ever decides to return to the ring on WWE television.
