“When I partnered up with Windham (Bray), his whole mindset was about creating a universe for this character. And he was so good at it. I always say that he was a creative genius. And it opened my creativity to a whole other level of ‘Oh my gosh, this character that I’m portraying on TV is a living, breathing human who had a past, who has a future, and what does that look like?’ And to this day, I still watch the documentaries that Bray had me watch to develop the dark Alexa character,” she said.

Bliss added that she still tries to bring a piece of Bray Wyatt with her in her character and pointed out her tribute to him at WrestleMania.

“There are all these things that I still take with me of Windham, and I always try to sprinkle a little bit of Windham with me everywhere I go. Especially at the last WrestleMania, I did the moth and had the ‘always connected’ on the wings. Because my last WrestleMania was with Windham, I thought for my first WrestleMania back to have a little tribute to Windham,” she added.

Alexa Bliss will be teaming up with Charlotte Flair and Tatum Paxley to battle Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab at WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event this weekend.

Popular WWE star Alexa Bliss commented on her alliance with Charlotte Flair and noted that it brought out a new version of the veteran’s character.

During her conversation on Busted Open Radio, Bliss stated that the partnership has allowed WWE fans to see a nicer version of Flair on television.

“I know how amazing she is and how talented she is, I think people need to see that she’s finally kind of allowed herself to step into her own and be this perfect mix of Charlotte that we see on TV and the Charlotte that we don’t see behind the scenes and I think she’s such a nice and genuine person that it’s coming out in her work now,” she said.

It will be fascinating to see if Alexa Bliss’ team can emerge victorious at WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event.
