With both men having plenty to prove, a simple contract signing could quickly descend into chaos. Here are four things that could go wrong during tonight’s segment.

#4. Paul Heyman double-crosses Bron Breakker

Paul Heyman could be the biggest wild card in the entire segment. The former Wiseman was instrumental in making Oba Femi vs. Bron Breakker happen after intervening when the two men were seemingly about to fight on RAW. He subsequently worked with Adam Pearce to make the blockbuster match official.

However, Heyman’s involvement could eventually become a problem for Breakker. The Dog of WWE is currently part of The Vision. However, Heyman has already shown that he is willing to manipulate situations to create the matchups he believes are best for the company. If he decides that Femi is the more valuable investment, he could betray Bron at the worst possible moment.

Paul Heyman could appear to be helping Bron Breakker during the contract signing before suddenly distracting him and allowing Oba Femi to strike. That would immediately add another layer to the rivalry and leave Breakker wondering whether his own adviser has been playing him all along.

#3. A giant physical brawl erupts

The most obvious possibility is also one of the most entertaining. Oba Femi and Bron Breakker have already demonstrated that keeping them separated is becoming increasingly difficult. On August 10, Femi confronted Breakker after Austin Theory’s match, forcing WWE officials to intervene before the situation escalated.

A contract signing puts both men in the same ring with nowhere to hide. It would not be surprising if one of them gets tired of verbal exchanges and flips the table. From there, the segment could become an all-out brawl involving punches, clotheslines, spears, and power moves.

Considering the size and strength of both superstars, the destruction could be spectacular. The contract table could be broken, security could flood the ring, and the two men could even damage the ring itself during their confrontation.

The Canadian Tire Centre crowd could be treated to a preview of the physical war expected at Sunday Night’s Main Event. And if WWE wants to end RAW with a memorable visual, having officials desperately separate Oba Femi and Bron Breakker after the ring has been left in complete disarray would accomplish exactly that.

#2. Adam Pearce gets speared through the table

Adam Pearce could find himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. The RAW General Manager has been directly involved in making this match official, with Heyman confirming the bout with Pearce before the match was booked.

That makes Adam Pearce a natural target if the contract signing gets out of control. Imagine Pearce standing between Oba Femi and Bron Breakker while attempting to establish some ground rules. One shove could send the segment spiraling. Breakker could lose his temper and accidentally spear Pearce through the contract table, or Femi could deliberately use the GM as collateral damage during the confrontation.

A spear through the table would instantly demonstrate just how dangerous Bron Breakker can be when his emotions take over. It could also give WWE a storyline reason for Adam Pearce to become more personally invested in ensuring that neither man gets an advantage before their match.

Most importantly, it would give the contract signing a shocking ending without giving away the result of the actual match.

#1. Oba Femi refuses to sign until a stipulation is added for Sunday Night’s Main Event

The biggest twist could come from Oba Femi. He does not need to simply sign the contract and walk away. As the man WWE has repeatedly positioned as one of its biggest future stars, The Ruler could decide that the original match terms are not enough.

Femi could refuse to sign unless an additional stipulation is added to the match. Perhaps he demands that the bout become a No Holds Barred Match. Maybe he wants it to be a no disqualification match, or he could insist the winner receive something bigger than bragging rights.

That would fit the larger presentation surrounding this rivalry. WWE has already described Oba Femi and Bron Breakker as two men competing to prove who is the true future of the company. If Femi genuinely believes he is destined to rule WWE, he could argue that an ordinary singles match is not enough to settle the debate.

The demand could also force Breakker to make a decision. Does he accept The Ruler’s challenge and prove that he is willing to fight under any circumstances? Or does he refuse, allowing Oba to accuse him of backing down? Either way, the contract signing would suddenly become much more important.
