Gunther’s comments did not sit well with the former WWE Universal Champion. Balor confronted the Ring General and mentioned that he would do anything to get back into the title picture, and he would not mind if he needed to fight the Ring General to get back in the hunt for the WWE Undisputed Title. The Career Killer just laughed at Balor and walked off. While nothing was confirmed, Nick Aldis did seem interested in seeing both stars wrestle each other.

It is to be noted that earlier in the night, when the Ring General interrupted Chelsea Green, it led to an impromptu match against her husband, Matt Cardona. The Career Killer manhandled Cardona and left Green in tears.

Later in the night, Sami Zayn was set to wrestle Cody Rhodes, and if he had won the match, he would’ve become the new No. 1 contender for the WWE Undisputed Championship. But Randy Orton’s attack on Rhodes spoiled Zayn’s plans.

Next week on SmackDown in Toronto, Kevin Owens is set to challenge CM Punk for the title. Who will walk out of Toronto as the Undisputed Champion? Who will be the next challenger for the title? All these questions will be answered next week.
