It should be noted that MLW episodes are taped months in advance, and the match between the Skyscrapers and The Good Brothers has already taken place. Corbin and Dijak lost the MLW World Tag Team Championship to the former WWE stars, and this was likely the United States Champion’s last appearance in Major League Wrestling.

Donovan Dijak wants to reunite with Baron Corbin in WWE

While Baron Corbin’s time with Donovan Dijak is set to officially come to an end this weekend, Dijak has shown interest in reuniting with the United States Champion in WWE or some other company:

“I’d certainly be open to it under the right and correct circumstances. The amount of time we got to work together was unfortunately a little too brief. In that short amount of time, we were able to do some cool stuff, but the reality was it was only about a year, and MLW only runs about once a month, so we probably only had twelve or thirteen matches together. I certainly hope there’s more in the future. I don’t know what company that might be with but I’m open to any possibility.”

Baron Corbin has had a stellar run in the global juggernaut since returning. The Lone Wolf won the United States Championship at SummerSlam and successfully defended it on SmackDown last week. He will again put the gold on the line on the upcoming edition of the blue brand, this time against Carmelo Hayes.
