In what appears to have been done accidentally, the URL of the highlights on WWE’s website featuring the 29-year-old’s attack on Tatum Paxley gives away ‘Reina Volcan’ as the name for the recent signing. The URL also erroneously mentions Kendal Grey as the NXT star being attacked.

Corey Hayes of False Finish had reported recently via X/Twitter that the trademark the Stamford-based promotion had filed on June 8 for Reina Volcan was going to be assigned to the new signing. That now appears to be accurate, and the originally Spanish term translates to Volcano Queen in English.

Debuting WWE Star Made History

Nikki Blackheart made history by becoming the first person from the Dominican Republic to sign a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment.

She adds to the growing list of Dominican presence in professional wrestling. Meanwhile, Leila Grey of AEW holds that accolade for the Jacksonville-based promotion.

Curiously, Marti Belle was the first Dominican to appear in WWE when she represented her country in the Mae Young Classic in 2017. However, Belle was never contracted to the Stamford-based promotion.

Blackheart signed her contract in March and made her debut against Skylar Raye at an NXT live show in May. She has also had another singles bout and a tag team match before her recent television debut.

It remains to be seen what is next for the history-making star, who has announced her intent to go after the very popular Tatum Paxley.
