The former Women’s Champion recently shared several updates on Instagram where she revealed that she had welcomed a puppy to her family by the name of Big Body Boss. The Japanese star adopted the puppy now that she is back at home and appears to be having a fantastic time with him.

The Women’s Division was brought forward by Asuka throughout her time in WWE, and it seems that she wants it to be a special occasion when she wrestles now, since she is coming to the end of her career.

The former champion is already a mother and someone who keeps her personal life as private as possible, but it’s clear that she wanted to take some time off the road to spend with her family.

Asuka is going to return to WWE

Despite speculation that she has retired from WWE, it’s clear that the Japanese star hasn’t hung up her boots; instead, she is taking a break. WWE wasn’t using Asuka as effectively as they should have been, and it seems that she wants to be in a position the same way as Roman Reigns. When she returns and wrestles, it will be a special moment.

The Empress of Tomorrow is one of the best-known female wrestlers of the past decade and once had a lengthy undefeated streak in NXT. The former Women’s Champion has won the Royal Rumble, wrestled at WrestleMania, and even got into the final of the Queen of the Ring. It’s easy to forget that she is a Money in the Bank winner too, but she was given the title when she won the contract, so she never had a chance to cash in.

She has already paved a road that many women, including Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane, have been able to follow, and clearly has so much more to give when she decides to make her return.
