On RAW, Reigns addressed the interaction with Rhodes. The OTC asked Jey Uso to win the King of the Ring Tournament and win the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam. The YEET Master is set to face LA Knight, Royce Keys, and Finn Balor in the first round of the tournament.

The Bloodline getting involved in the Undisputed WWE Championship picture creates direct conflict with Gunther, who also has his sights set on the title. The Ring General challenged Rhodes at Clash in Italy, but suffered a controversial loss.

The Austrian star’s leg was underneath the rope during the pinfall, but the referee failed to notice it. Gunther was frustrated after the loss, and it’s unlikely that he’ll stop chasing the title. If Jey Uso also comes after the Undisputed WWE Championship. The Ring General could take him out.

However, attacking Jey would likely draw the attention of the rest of The Bloodline. Roman Reigns has made it clear that he wants his family involved in the top title picture, and he would probably not take kindly to someone targeting one of his closest allies.

A conflict between Gunther and The Bloodline could also open the door to fresh matchups. Jacob Fatu recently acknowledged Roman Reigns and officially joined the group after Clash in Italy. The Samoan Werewolf and The Ring General are two of WWE’s most dominant stars, yet they have never had a major rivalry against each other on the main roster.

If Gunther’s pursuit of the Undisputed WWE Championship brings him into conflict with Jey Uso, it may only be a matter of time before the rest of The Bloodline gets involved as well.

Roman Reigns could face Seth Rollins at SummerSlam

Even though Roman Reigns wants Jey Uso to win the King of the Ring Tournament and challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam, it might not happen.

According to SelfMadePW, Seth Rollins is reportedly planned to win the King of the Ring and challenge the OTC for the World Heavyweight Championship at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

“Seth Rollins is going to win King of the Ring. Today I was just talking to somebody about the King of the Ring situation, and what they said to me was there are a lot of moving parts. There’s a lot up in the air right now for SummerSlam, for whatever reason. What they told me was that, right now, the plan is for Seth Rollins to win the tournament and face Roman Reigns. So that’s what I was told.”

The Visionary defeated Bron Breakker on the latest episode of WWE RAW. Rollins is set to face Je’Von Evans, Talla Tonga, and Ricky Saints in the first round of the KOTR Tournament.
