The Deadman mentioned that the two stars put on an incredible matchup to determine the one and only El Grande Americano.

WWE star Chad Gable cut an emotional promo after the match

In the aftermath of the encounter, Chad Gable took off his mask and cut a rousing promo seemingly turning babyface.

The WWE star mentioned that he took up the mask to learn Lucha Libre and defeat all the luchadors in the world. However, he mentioned that during his journey, he learned more about the art of Lucha, Mexico, its people, and its culture. He admitted that he could not defeat the Mexican spirit at Noches de Los Grandes. Gable declared that he would always be the original El Grande Americano. He also put over his opponent by handing over his mask and claiming that he was now the only El Grande American.

The Alpha Academy leader also vowed that he would find a way to return to AAA at some point in the future and thanked the fans for their support.
