The two don’t seem to be fully on the same page just yet, as Stratton refused to celebrate with Green on the ramp despite helping her win. However, Chelsea Green seems already committed to the idea of a partnership with the Buff Barbie. It now remains to be seen how their relationship evolves over the next few weeks.

Chelsea Green reveals former WWE Tag Team Champion pushed for her iconic table spot

During the 2024 Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, Chelsea Green was sent crashing through two tables outside the ring by the eventual winner, Tiffany Stratton. It was an extremely dangerous spot, and helped her get over with the fans. She recently disclosed that former tag team champion and current producer TJ Wilson (fka Tyson Kidd) vouched for her to be in the spot on Busted Open Radio:

“And I think TJ [Wilson] was the one where I texted him and said I wanna do this bump, and he fought for it because the men tried to do that spot and hanging off the briefcase, dangling, which I think [Chad] Gable ended up doing maybe. And TJ fought and said, ‘no, Chelsea asked for that weeks ago, and we’re gonna give it to her.’ And I mean, he’s honestly the best producer and he pushes the girls to their limits.”

Two years on from the iconic spot, Green is now partnered up with Stratton despite the tension between them. It will be interesting to see if this leads to a title feud down the line.
