El Grande Americano and Original El Grande Americano are set to compete in a huge mask vs. mask match on May 31. One of the stipulations for the match to take place was that neither man could hit the other, or the match would be off, and the first one to hit the other would lose his mask. However, this week, at a recent AAA show, both Americanos came to blows in the ring, and a huge brawl broke out. Rey Mysterio came out and announced that, although both men had hit each other, the match would still take place as planned.

Rey Mysterio said he warned Finn Balor about Dominik Mysterio

It’s been a few years since Dominik Mysterio turned on Rey Mysterio and joined the Judgment Day. Since then, he has come a long way in his career. Dom even betrayed Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest a few years ago. This year, Dom and the rest of Judgment Day turned on Finn Balor and kicked him out of the group.

During an interview with Adrian Hernandez of Unlikely, Rey said that he warned Finn Balor about Dominik Mysterio.

“It’s a little shaky, man. I mean, I’ve warned Finn [Bálor] like I warned [Damian] Priest, like I warned Rhea [Ripley] that Dom is not the cat that they think he is. And I’ve known him my whole life. It seems like… anything else, now they’re finding out on their own, you know. Sometimes it takes time to really get to meet the person that you think he is and he’s not, so it’s crazy.” [H/T ITR Wrestling]

It’s good to see that Rey is still allowing the match between El Grande Americano and Original El Grande Americano to happen.
