The injuries that plagued the two men in recent months have meant that the story has been pieced together slowly, but last night, Breakker had something to say to Rollins when he returned.

Bron Breakker delivered two Spear’s to Seth Rollins before taking him by the throat at the bottom of the throat and making it clear,

“You should have put me down when you had the chance.”

This is a throwback to the times that the masked man stalked The Bloodline earlier in the year, before Breakker was injured and Bronson Reed then became a target, but after his injury, it was Logan Paul who was targeted at Elimination Chamber.

It was as part of Elimination Chamber that Seth Rollins was revealed as the man under the mask, and he then focused on Paul Heyman, who was the man who created The Vision with him but turned his back on Rollins to help Breakker and Reed.

Paul Heyman was there to see Bron Breakker return to WWE

Paul Heyman wasn’t at ringside for the match between The Vision, IShowSpeed, and The Usos and LA Knight, which raised a number of questions about The Oracle, but he appeared later in the night, embracing Bron Breakker following his return.

Heyman and Breakker have been working together backstage for several years, and he knows he’s safe with Breakker in front of him. It was clearly Heyman who sent the former NXT Champion to make a statement and cost him against Gunther.

The issue here is that Heyman still owes The Career Killer because he helped him while Breakker was injured. It will be interesting to see what Gunther wants from Heyman now that he has done his part in the story. Gunther was able to defeat Rollins, which was the plan all along, but he made it clear that Heyman would owe him a favor.

As of writing, Gunther hasn’t revealed what it is that he wants from Heyman, and he could hold it over for him for as long as he needs.
