This situation unfolded during Williams’ battle with Matt Cardona. However, in a heated ringside moment, the heel in Trick pushed Sami. He could not retaliate quickly, and the match would’ve ended in Trick’s favor. He stood on the apron, distracting them and arguing with Williams. That’s when Yachty came to the rescue, pulled Zayn, but got kicked later.

This distracted the former TNA Champion for a while, but he still managed to get a win over Matt. Later, he ran toward Yachty to look at him as he seemed fairly okay, but the damage was done nonetheless.

Sami Zayn has won titles in his last two matches at WrestleMania

Last year, Sami Zayn was not part of WrestleMania 41. However, the two WrestleManias before that, he won titles consecutively. Back at WrestleMania 40 in 2024, he did the unthinkable. Zayn dethroned Gunther, ending his 666-day reign with the Intercontinental Championship.

A year before that, in 2023, was the most iconic though. In the main event of WrestleMania 39 Night One, Sami and Kevin Owens teamed up. They challenged Zayn’s former stablemate, The Usos, for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship and emerged victorious.

It will be exciting to see whether Sami keeps his US Title to himself now or loses to Trick Williams.
