Over the years, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has had a reputation for making booking decisions that are generally considered beneficial for the Stamford-based company.

While this approach has brought some superstars into the spotlight, it hasn’t always been favorable for everyone. This year, many believe the promotion has taken some of its talents for granted and refused to push them, despite their growing fan support.

Now, let’s look at four such superstars that WWE appears to have taken for granted in 2025 and not pushed them:

#4. LA Knight

LA Knight has been pursuing the World Heavyweight Title for the past few months. He competed in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match and in the King of the Ring Tournament, but couldn’t win either. Despite gaining much support from fans over the past two years, WWE has yet to push Knight in the main event scene.

Although The Megastar did get a few shots at the World Heavyweight Championship, first on RAW in a singles bout against Rollins and then at Clash in Paris in a Fatal Four-Way battle, where he again failed to win either high-stakes bout. Curiously enough, many believe that the 42-year-old wasn’t portrayed as a formidable enough competitor when compared to the other contenders, CM Punk and Jey Uso.

Sadly, it now appears that the company has finally taken Knight out of the title picture after Main Event Jey won the Battle Royal on last week’s episode of RAW to emerge as Punk’s opponent for the vacant World Heavyweight Title at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLI.

#3. Randy Orton

Randy Orton wants to become a 15-time World Champion. However, his journey has been challenging, as the Stamford-based promotion has yet to consider having him lift a World Title again, a feat which has eluded him for five years now.

Orton did square off earlier this year against John Cena at Backlash for the Undisputed WWE Championship, but he wasn’t booked for the win. However, The Viper later entered the King of the Ring Tournament, but was also defeated by Cody Rhodes in the final at Night of Champions. Interestingly, he lost in the final of the same tournament in consecutive years.

Although many fans later suggested that the 14-time World Champion would turn heel and challenge Cody Rhodes for the title, that hasn’t happened yet. Instead, Drew McIntyre was booked to feud with The American Nightmare for the gold.

#2. Rey Fenix

Rey Fenix appears to be another WWE Superstar who has been taken for granted and underutilized by the Stamford-based promotion this year. Despite seemingly gaining fans’ attention on SmackDown, the upstart has arguably not been placed in the same spotlight as his older brother Penta, who also made his debut earlier this year on RAW.

It seems like the company has been pushing Penta more by giving him prominent opportunities and booking him to win most of his matches. Meanwhile, Fenix has faced some setbacks with a string of losses and hasn’t been given many chances to showcase his abilities.

#1. Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre

Many fans believe that WWE hasn’t given Drew McIntyre a sufficient push in recent years, despite his strong mic skills and impressive ring work.

He has arguably gained some momentum as a top heel through his ongoing feud with Cody Rhodes on SmackDown, but has yet to lift the Undisputed WWE Championship in front of a live audience.

However, considering that McIntyre has gotten another shot at Cody Rhodes’ title at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLI, it will be interesting to see if the company will finally consider booking a title change during the event and give The Scottish Warrior the push he deserves.
