Bringing Enzo alongside his former tag team partner is something WWE should do, and here are four reasons why.
#4. Enzo Amore and Big Cass are better together
Big Cass has proven that he can succeed on his own. Since leaving WWE, he has rebuilt himself and established a successful singles run. However, many fans still associate him with Enzo Amore.
The two became one of WWE’s most entertaining tag teams during their first run with the company. They connected with the audience through their chemistry, entrance, and promos. Even before the bell rang, Enzo and Cass had already won over the crowd. That is difficult to recreate.
Bringing back Big Cass on his own would certainly get a reaction. However, reuniting him with Enzo would make the return feel much bigger. WWE would be bringing back an act that fans already know instead of asking Cass to build fresh momentum from scratch.
It would also benefit Cass. Enzo has always been one of the best talkers in wrestling, while Cass has the size and presence to back him up in the ring. Their strengths have always complemented each other. That was one of the biggest reasons they became so popular during their first run.
If WWE is planning to bring Big Cass back for the long term, reuniting him with Enzo gives both stars the best chance to succeed. It would also immediately give the tag team division another established act that fans would be excited to see again.
#3. WWE’s tag team division needs a credible team
WWE’s tag team division has improved over the past few months. Several teams have been pushed, and the championship picture feels much stronger than it did a year ago. However, there is still room for another established team.
Enzo Amore and Big Cass would immediately become credible challengers for the World Tag Team Championship. They would not need months of build-up because fans already know what they are capable of as a team. They would also bring something different to the division.
Most of the current teams are built around their in-ring ability. Enzo and Cass offer a different dynamic. Their chemistry, promos, and crowd interaction have always been their biggest strengths. That would make them stand out from the rest of the division. There are also several fresh rivalries waiting for them.
A feud with The Vision would be an obvious option. The Street Profits, The Usos, Alpha Academy, and other teams could also step into the picture. That gives WWE plenty of directions to take after their return.
Bringing back both men instead of just Big Cass would strengthen the entire tag team division. It would also give WWE another experienced team that can remain in the title picture for a long time.
#2. Fans have been waiting for a reunion
Rumors about Enzo Amore and Big Cass returning to WWE have been circulating for weeks. Even before the latest vignette aired on RAW, many fans expected the two to come back together.
That is because they have always been viewed as a package. Big Cass returning on his own would still be a notable moment. However, many fans would immediately wonder why Enzo was not standing beside him. Their partnership is one of the biggest reasons they became so popular during their first WWE run.
The creative team already has a story ready to tell. The two have been away from the company for several years. A reunion would feel fresh while also giving longtime fans something they have wanted to see for a long time. It would also be a simple way to reintroduce both stars to the current audience.
The timing makes sense as well. Big Cass’ return has already been teased for the RAW after SummerSlam. If Enzo joins him, the moment would have a much bigger impact than a solo return. Instead of bringing back one familiar face, the company could immediately re-establish one of its most popular tag teams from the last decade.
#1. It gives Big Cass a clearer direction
Big Cass would return to a very different WWE than the one he left. The singles division is filled with powerhouse stars. Oba Femi, Brock Lesnar, Bron Breakker, Rusev, and several others are already on RAW. Breaking into that group would not be easy.
That is why bringing Enzo back makes sense. Rather than forcing a singles push in an already crowded division, the company could capitalize on what made Cass successful in the first place.
