With more time to plan, The Game must get things right, or at least make logical sense with the booking decisions. Triple H must not make the next four mistakes at the Elimination Chamber PLE.

#4. No big returns or debuts

Outside of Royce Keys’ debut and Brie Bella’s return, the 2026 Royal Rumble offered minimal excitement with its surprises. Instead of a big name like Chris Jericho, Paige, or Bianca Belair emerging, fans got Mr. Iguana and La Parka.

Travelling to Saudi Arabia could have factored into those decisions. Whatever the case, fans were underwhelmed with what is usually one of the best spots for massive returns.

The Elimination Chamber is the last PLE before WrestleMania. A big name must triumphantly return in some capacity. There are six weeks between the two shows, which is long enough to build to a match.

#3. The final entrant in either Elimination Chamber match wins

Having the final entrant in either the Royal Rumble or the Elimination Chamber win is a disappointing choice. It is the luck of the draw, but it takes some of the allure away when the final person who enters wins.

It works for a heel, but even Bianca Belair won in 2022 by entering last. Specialty contests like the Elimination Chamber allow for better storytelling due to the length of each contest. It’s why outside interference has factored in the last two years.

Booking the final entrant to win is easy and lazy, so Triple H must try to tell a more compelling story after a slightly disappointing Royal Rumble PLE. Build some momentum for a star who enters earlier.

#2. Je’Von Evans or Trick Williams qualify over more established stars

As announced on RAW, Elimination Chamber qualifying matches will start next week on RAW. That means stars from both RAW and SmackDown will have a chance to enter the Chamber.

If both brands are involved, then some of the bigger and more established names should get spots. Jacob Fatu, LA Knight, Sami Zayn, Randy Orton, and others should be booked.

Having someone like Je’Von Evans or Trick Williams in it would be a massive slight to the rest of the roster. Trick was already in a fatal four-way for a shot at the Undisputed WWE title at the Rumble.

Zayn and Orton can be in due to their long-time veteran status. Evans would just be in the match to take an RKO off a pod. Put viable title challengers in the match instead of just for a spot.

#1. Cody Rhodes wins after winning two Rumbles and the 2025 King of the Ring

Despite certain stars having numerous chances atop WWE over the years, Triple H has no problem with continuing to hand them huge opportunities at the expense of other stars who could use the shot.

The American Nightmare won two of the last four Royal Rumbles and was the 2025 King of the Ring. With McIntyre defeating Cody for the Undisputed title, Rhodes can’t challenge him as long as he holds the belt.

The Game has shown that he’ll ignore his own rules and some storytelling to get the biggest names in the top spots. Rhea Ripley essentially acted like a child until she got added to IYO SKY vs. Bianca Belair last year.

McIntyre has tormented Rhodes, but officials must go with a different winner. Jacob Fatu makes the most sense since he’s after Drew yet hasn’t had a shot. Even Sami winning and slaying the dragon at WrestleMania would be better.
