Fyre arrived on the main roster in March last year and was immediately aligned with Chelsea Green. Alongside Piper Niven, she became a member of Green’s Secret HERvice faction on the blue brand.

Fyre remained a part of the stable until her release on Friday. Taking to X, the 33-year-old UK wrestler broke her silence on her exit. Instead of a farewell message, she mentioned what could’ve been and dropped a possible tease for what’s next.

“Kay Lee Ray would batter Alba Fyre. Just saying…” she wrote.

Fyre’s long-time fans and those who followed her in NXT UK will know what she is talking about. She went by the in-ring name of Kay Lee Ray early in her career when she made her debut on independents.

She impressed during her stint in Insane Championship Wrestling before finally arriving in WWE in 2019, joining the NXT UK brand. As Kay Lee Ray, she won the NXT UK Women’s Championship against Toni Storm.

Ray would go on to have many memorable matches before finally dropping the title to Meiko Satomura, ending her reign at an impressive 649 days.

Chelsea Green sent a message after Alba Fyre’s WWE exit

After a run in NXT, Alba Fyre joined Chelsea Green on the main roster and remained by her side till her recent exit.

With Piper Niven out with a long-term injury and Green also nursing an ankle injury, the Secret HERvice hadn’t been featured much on SmackDown. Now, with Fyre’s release, the future of the faction is up in the air.

Meanwhile, on X, Green sent a message after Fyre’s departure. She noted that fans have not seen how talented Fyre is and there is more to come from her.

The former Women’s US champion added she would miss having her by her side but mentioned it is only the beginning for her.
