This is the lone team event on the PGA Tour, featuring 74 teams, each with two pros competing in a mixed format consisting of alternate shot for the third round and fourball (better ball) for the final round. After 36 holes, the duo of Alex Smalley and Hayden Springer are in the lead at 16 under, one shot ahead of a three-way tie for second that includes last week’s RBC Heritage winner Matt Fitzpatrick and his brother, Alex.

The Zurich is held at the TPC Louisiana in Avondale, Louisiana, just southwest of the city of New Orleans. The golf course ranks No. 2 on the Golfweek’s Best: Top public-access golf courses in Louisiana list. The tournament started in 1938 and has been held at TPC Louisiana since 2005. It became a team event during the 2016-17 PGA Tour season.
