The 2026 Daytona 500 officially kicks off the NASCAR season on Sunday, February 15, with an exciting race day ahead at Daytona International Speedway.
For the third straight year, the weather has impacted the race day schedule.

Because of the threat of inclement weather, NASCAR officials made the decision to bump the start time up by one hour to avoid any delays during the race. In 2024, the race was pushed to Monday, while last year fans saw a three and a half hour delay.

Entering Sunday’s race, pole-sitter Kyle Busch is one of the co-favorites for the race, joining Joey Logano at +1000.

The green flag is scheduled to drop at 2:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
