During a recent K&S WrestleFest signing, Ric Flair disclosed he was approached to face fellow wrestling legend Ricky Morton in the near future.

“Somebody wants me to wrestle Ricky Morton now.”

Furthermore, the 2-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion said that he hadn’t turned down the idea and that he was actively thinking about accepting it.

Could WWE legend Ric Flair seriously come out of retirement?

While Flair’s comments are sure to get the fans buzzing, nothing’s set in stone yet. The WWE Hall of Famer’s retirement match in 2022 wasn’t an easy one for him, as he visibly struggled to cross the finish line. He even suffered a health setback last year, which forced AEW to cancel his planned appearance at the last minute.

Ric Flair was set to show up at Blood and Guts 2025 in November alongside his good friend and former rival, Ricky Steamboat. However, Flair was nowhere to be seen, and it was later reported that he left early as he was in immense pain due to a rotator cuff tear.

All of this indicates that Flair might not be in a position to wrestle anymore, and his comments at the recent signing must be taken with a grain of salt.
