Palmeiras returns to the field this Thursday (21st), at 9:30 PM (BrasĂlia time), when they host Universitario at Allianz Parque for the second leg of the Conmebol Libertadores Round of 16.
Since they won the first leg 4-0, VerdĂŁo can even lose by three goals and still advance to the quarterfinals.
The Peruvians need to win by four goals to take it to penalties, or by five or more goals to qualify directly.
Compared to the last match (1-0 over Botafogo in the BrasileirĂŁo), coach Abel Ferreira chose to start Giay, Micael, Allan, Emiliano MartĂnez, and MaurĂcio in place of Khellven, AnĂbal Moreno, Lucas Evangelista, Facundo Torres, and Piquerez, respectively, for Palmeiras.
