Zoey Stark shared an interesting update on social media ahead of tonight’s edition of WWE RAW. The veteran suffered a major injury during her Money in the Bank qualifying match last month on the red brand.
Rhea Ripley defeated Zoey Stark and Kairi Sane in a Triple Threat Money in the Bank qualifying match on the May 19 edition of WWE RAW. Stark went for a springboard Dropkick during the match but landed wrong and suffered a major injury.
She took to Instagram today to share a video ahead of the surgery for her ACL, MCL, and meniscus. Stark noted in the video that the surgery took over three hours and suggested that fans tune in on Monday, June 16, for the next update.
That is the date of next week’s episode of RAW, but she may also be referring to the release date of another video on her social media accounts. You can check out Stark’s update in the Instagram post below.
“The body achieves what the mind believes,” she wrote.
Stark used to be a member of the Pure Fusion Collective faction on WWE RAW alongside Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville. However, the company elected not to renew Deville and Baszler’s contracts, and they are no longer with the promotion.
Former WWE writer points out a trend following Zoey Stark’s injury
Wrestling veteran Vince Russo discussed a trend in WWE’s women’s division following Zoey Stark’s injury.
Speaking on a recent episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW podcast, Russo noted that Stark’s injury was very unfortunate for the 31-year-old. The legend pointed out that several stars in the women’s division have been injured recently and suggested that they may need to change their in-ring style.
“I swear to God. The only thing worth talking about on this show was something that wasn’t supposed to happen, and that’s Zoey Stark getting hurt. That’s really the only thing that warrants anything on this show. That’s unfortunate for her. I gotta tell you, a lot of these women get hurt. These women are constantly getting hurt. Kairi Sane came back, she was out hurt. Zoey Stark came back, she was hurt. Asuka is hurt.” [From 7:10 onwards]

Only time will tell when Stark will be ready to return to action following her injury last month on WWE RAW.
