“I can’t explain what a super person & great director Kerwin was. I work with him for many years on the road & in studio. His passion for great Tv in the wrestling biz was strong. This man once was working in the studio thru an actually heart attack & kept working!! Very sad to hear this. I hope they put him in their HOF. He belongs. Prayers & support to his family. RIP,” he wrote.

Silfies was furloughed by the promotion during the COVID-19 pandemic and never got the opportunity to return.

Triple H pays tribute to a recently passed WWE employee

Triple H paid tribute to backstage crew member Jim Shank following his passing earlier this month.

The King of Kings took to social media to honor Jim Shank and noted that he was an important member of the production team behind the scenes. Triple H added that Shank helped create the promotion’s live experience and that he would see him again down the road.

“On Friday, the @WWE family lost a beloved member of its production crew. Jim Shank was a fixture backstage and an incredible teammate, who helped create the magic of the live experience at WWE. My thoughts and those of our entire crew and talent roster are with his family at this time. It’s never goodbye…but see ya down the road,” he wrote.
