After SummerSlam, she was referred to as interim women’s champion. That changed on SmackDown as she was introduced as the women’s champion, with the interim tag removed.
Sadly for Green, she did not get to enjoy that announcement fully as she suffered a broken orbital bone injury during her tag team match on SmackDown. To make things worse, she also ended up being pinned in that match.
