Moments ago, WWE posted an unseen video of the mystery attacker going about his work. The clip also showed the latter instantly climbing out of the cage and disappearing in the crowd.

There has been a lot of speculation about the identity of the mystery attacker. Many fans believe it was none other than Austin Theory. The former United States Champion has been absent for several months due to an undisclosed injury.

WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman claims he does not know who the mystery attacker is

WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman showed up at the Survivor Series: WarGames Post Show to boast about his team’s performance in the main event. Joe Tessitore asked The Oracle whether the mystery attacker was Seth Rollins, as he took out CM Punk with the Stomp.

In response, the Vision member claimed that he had no idea who the hooded person was. Heyman added that the presenters were wrong in presuming that it was his plan.

“How would I know? The man was wearing a hood. How would I know? How would I know? You ask as if this is some machiavellian plan of Paul Heyman’s. You presume that I’m guilty without giving me the benefit of the doubt that I’m innocent,” Heyman said.

It will be interesting to see if the mysterious attacker shows up on Monday Night RAW to reveal his identity and true intentions.
