[This article contains spoilers for the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW, which has been taped]

#5. Sol Ruca faces Raquel Rodriguez for the title

Sol Ruca has been chasing the Women’s Intercontinental Championship for the past few weeks. She defeated Lyra Valkyria two weeks ago to earn a shot at the coveted title. Tonight, Ruca faces her ultimate challenge as she will lock horns with Raquel Rodriguez, with the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line. The two superstars delivered a great match.

As for the results, there was no title change. But this title match did not end in a clean manner, as Lyra Valkyria interrupted in the closing moments to cost Sol Ruca the bout. She distracted the 27-year-old, allowing Raquel Rodriguez to take advantage of that and pin Ruca. Following the match, Valkyria stood outside the ring, smiling and mocking the former champ.

#4. What’s next for Royce Keys and OTM?

Royce Keys shocked the world last week on Monday Night RAW by making a surprise return and invading the main event of the show. However, he wasn’t alone, as Keys brought two of NXT’s most intimidating forces, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price, along with him. Following their destructive debut, fans have been wondering what’s next for the newly formed faction.

The trio continued their carnage on the red brand as they ambushed Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso backstage during the opening of the show. They wreaked havoc on The Usos and also attacked Solo Sikoa backstage later on in the show. Royce Keys and OTM made yet another definitive statement, putting the entire roster on notice. It will be interesting to see where it leads.

#3. Rey Fenix and Penta collide in the tournament finals

Fans will witness an iconic clash between Rey Fenix and Penta tonight as the two brothers collide in the finals of the Number One Contender tournament. WWE has been advertising it as one of the biggest matches on the card for tonight’s RAW. The two luchadors delivered an incredible performance in the ring that left fans on the edge of their seats.

However, it was Penta who eventually emerged victorious with a Mexican destroyer. With that, Roman Reigns’ next challenger has been determined. Penta will face Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship on the September 14 episode of RAW in Mexico. Following their match, Rey Fenix and Penta were seen sharing a moment of respect and gratitude.

#2. Chad Gable picks up his next challenger

Chad Gable has been marching forward as the Intercontinental Champion since capturing the coveted title at SummerSlam this year. This week on RAW, the 40-year-old was seen in an interesting segment where he appeared in the ring to address his future as champion. Gable stated that he wanted his Intercontinental Championship reign to define his legacy.

He expressed his gratitude and respect for the fans in Mexico. With that, Chad Gable announced that he would be defending his coveted title on the September 14 episode of RAW, which will take place in Mexico. He called out Dragon Lee in the ring and picked him to be his next challenger. That said, the Intercontinental Championship match has been made official.

#1. Roman Reigns returns on RAW

One of the biggest highlights of this week’s Monday Night RAW will be Roman Reigns’ return. The OTC will make his presence felt on the show in the Rocket Arena. Since the episode has been taped, Reigns was seen addressing the WWE Universe in a promo segment. He talked about how the locker room had failed to show him the respect he truly deserved.

He specifically took shots at LA Knight and Solo Sikoa, stating that the two should have acknowledged him already. However, The Megastar interrupted him in the middle of his promo and the two superstars got involved in a war of words. The segment ended with Roman Reigns putting LA Knight down with a surprise attack and making a bold statement.
