We saw NXT Champion Oba Femi walking up to the arena before the show kicked off.
Jasper Troy attacked him in the parking lot and chokeslammed him into the windshield of a car before security came in and dragged him away. Moments later, Ethan Page made his entrance and headed to the ring before we headed for the first match of the night.

WWE NXT Results: Ethan Page (c) vs. Sean Legacy – NXT North American Championship match
Legacy was in control early on, and Page tried for a headlock a few times. Legacy got a big slam for a near fall before the champ hit a big back drop on top of the ringpost!
Ethan missed the Ego’s Edge on the announce desk outside before Legacy sent him into the ringpost and hit a big dive. Back in the ring, Legacy missed the 450 splash and took Twisted Grin before going down for the three count.
Result: Ethan Page def. Sean Legacy to retain the North American Championship
Ricky Saints showed up after the match and attacked Ethan before the two brawled their way backstage.

Backstage in Ava’s office, Lainey Reid slapped the NXT Women’s Champ Jacy Jayne twice in a row before Ava kicked Reid out. Jacy set up a match between the two before the show moved on.
WWE NXT Results: The Culling vs. Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura
Inamura and Vance kicked off the match, and the latter got a big headbutt before Spears was tagged in. Inamura unloaded with chops in the corner before tags were made. Briggs came in with a slingshot backbreaker before Spears came back with a superkick.
Izzi Dame interfered and allowed the Culling to take control of the match. Inamura hit a big spear on Shawn Spears outside the ring before Niko took Briggs down on the ropes, blocking a dive. Niko got the Dominator on Josh Briggs before getting the win.

Backstage, Ava told Ricky Saints to stop risking his health and sent him home to recover from the throat injury.
We got a promo for Mariah May, who was now billed as Blake Monroe.
WWE NXT Results: Lash Legend vs. Wren Sinclair
Lash got a big boot to start the match before Wren came back with a rana. Lash was sent outside off a counter before catching Wren off a top rope dive and hitting a big slam for the easy win.

Backstage, Jasper Troy said that he knows Oba was proud enough to defend his title even though he was hurt and the challenger was counting on it.
WWE NXT Results: Jacy Jayne (c) vs. Lainey Reid – NXT Women’s Championship match
Newcomer Lainey Reid went for a series of quick pins but was unsuccessful before Jacy kicked her down on the match and got some running sentons. The champ got a big move on the apron as the rest of Fatal Influence mocked Reid.
Reid blocked a superplex and got the leg sweep in the middle of the ring before hitting a vertical suplex for a near fall. Jacy got some big elbows and took her out with a rana before taking a knee to the face. Fatal Influence distracted the challenger before Jacy got a huge right hook for the win.
Result: Jacy Jayne def. Lainey Reid to retain the Women’s Championship

After the match, Ava showed up on the balcony and said that starting next week, there will be a series of matches with the winner getting a NXT Women’s Championship match at Evolution.
Backstage, AJ Francis and KC Navarro of First Class from TNA showed up and said that they were aiming to win the Tag Titles.
Elijah came in and told them off for helping Trick win the TNA World Championship before the show moved on.
Luca Crusifino got a mysterious phone call before his match with D’Angelo, and when Tony asked who it was, Luca told him that it was some business he had to take care of.
Backstage, Myles Borne officially split with NQCC, and now Tavion wanted to face Charlie Dempsey as well. Je’Von Evans came in to humor them, but Charlie wasn’t having it and walked out.
WWE NXT Results: Luca Crusifino & Tony D’Angelo vs. High Ryze
Luca and Tyson kicked off the match, and Tony was tagged in early on but refused to join Crusifino for a double team move. Luca was distracted by Wes Lee and missed the tag from the Don as the match went on. Tony finally assisted Luca with a dive to the floor before we headed for a break.
Back in the ring, Luca was taking a beating but managed to make the tag to Tony, who got a big spinebuster. Stacks showed up on the apron with a crowbar before Tony chased him off.
Luca snuck up behind Tony with the crowbar as Stacks fled, and the Don yelled that he knew Crusifino was up to no good. Tyson used the distraction to take the Don down and get the win.

Backstage, Trick Williams announced that he would be teaming up with First Class to face the team of Elijah, Inamura, and Briggs.

Oba took a big vertical suplex and rolled out of the ring before Troy took him down on the floor with a lariat. Back in the ring, Troy sent the champ into the ringpost a few times and straight snapped the middle turnbuckle before we headed for a break.
Back in the ring, officials had fixed the turnbuckles as the match went on. The champ managed to get a big hip toss before Troy came back with the Black Hole Slam for the near fall.
The match headed ringside, and Femi sent Troy through the barricades before hitting Fall From Grace twice in the ring for the win.
Result: Oba Femi def. Josh Briggs to retain the NXT Championship
Grade: B+
The show went off the air as the referee checked on the challenger, and Femi celebrated his win.
