During a recent episode of Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the veteran admitted that he didn’t even know the Rumble was this coming Saturday. Mantell noted that WWE barely promoted the major show on their weekly programming. The veteran manager detailed that several casual fans watched the weekly shows sporadically and they would have no way of knowing that the PLE was happening this week.
“When is the Rumble? Okay, I am a wrestling fan, but I don’t really pay attention to WWE programming that much, now since we just talk about it. I think I hadn’t even heard about it in watching the shows of what clips I do watch. I haven’t even heard the Rumble. Haven’t even heard the date of the Rumble. If I am indicative of a lot of peoplewho watch it sporadically, I don’t think they know the Rumble is coming up.”
Triple H promised major surprises at WWE Royal Rumble
WWE Chief Content Officer, Triple H, recently appeared for an interview on ESPN’s Get Up. The Game detailed that fans could expect a lot of surprises in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
Hunter also detailed that the Rumble was happening at an insane scale in Saudi Arabia, and it was a historic moment for the company.
It will be interesting to see what surprises the creative team has planned for the fans this year.
