“I am not gonna be there. We’re gonna call it, I think post-fact, but I’m not gonna be there. They asked me if I’d come in. I said, ‘Absolutely, I’d be happy to.’ But they’re not bringing the announcers in. I told them I’d be happy to come to Chicago, but they changed it. What they told us initially, and this was a few weeks ago, was that we’ll probably voice it over next week some time. They may have changed that since. I don’t know because they haven’t said anything about it since,” JBL said.

Because JBL claims that the announcers will voice the show at a later date, the show might not be streaming live.

CM Punk, Oba Femi, and many more major WWE Superstars announced for Worlds Collide

As mentioned earlier, the Worlds Collide special event is scheduled to take place this Saturday night. The show is set to feature some of the biggest stars in WWE. The 2026 King of the Ring winner, Oba Femi, is set to make an appearance. Penta and Rey Fenix will team up for the first time in the Stamford-based promotion to take on Los Perros Del Mal.

NXT’s Vanity Project will be teaming up with Mini Abismo Negro to take on the team of Mr. Iguana, La Parka, Adelicious, and Mascarita Sagrada. Also, EK Prosper will be competing in a Fatal Four-Way against Je’Von Evans, Axiom, and Mini Vikingo. Dragon Lee will be taking on Jack Cartwheel.

On the women’s side of things, the Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez will be challenging La Catalina for the AAA Reina De Reinas Championship, and Fatal Influence will take on La Toxicas.

The main event of the night will feature former WWE Undisputed Champion CM Punk, who will be teaming up with Rey Mysterio and AAA Mega World Champion El Grande Americano to take on the trio of Omos, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh.
