Despite major wardrobe malfunctions, Jacy kept competing at the highest level against Vice and Grey, showing fans why she is truly one of the best women’s stars on the developmental brand. However, she lost the title to Lola Vice.

Major WWE title changes hands

While all three women had their moments in the match, the ending sequence saw Wren Sinclair interfere, taking out the Fatal Influence members at ringside alone.

This left Jacy distracted at ringside, and a fight broke out among all three women there. Grey then took Jayne to the ring, connected her signature move from the top turnbuckle, and covered Lady of Rock & Rumble to become the new WWE NXT Champion. However, Lola Vice reacted quickly as she broke the pin by jumping onto Kendal’s back and putting her in a sleeper choke.

This gave the heel champion some time to recover, and she took Grey out of the ring with a powerful hook. While The Rockstar was distracted after taking one of her challengers out, the MMA fighter turned pro wrestler was ready to strike, connecting her signature Backfist on Jayne, pinning her, and becoming the new WWE NXT Women’s Champion, ending Jacy’s iconic 137-day title reign.

With the new Women’s Champion being crowned, it will be interesting to see what’s next for the developmental brand’s women’s division.
