In an exclusive video posted on WWE’s X handle, Ricky Saints interrupted Rey Fenix and Byron Saxton. Saints claimed that Fenix wasted his time pursuing the World Heavyweight Championship on RAW. The Absolute then demanded that the AAA World Cruiserweight Champion defend the gold against him.
Axiom, who was with Rey Fenix at the time of the interview, didn’t like Ricky Saints’ idea. However, Fenix said he was sick of the former AEW World Tag Team Champion’s antics. He ultimately agreed to put his title on the line against Saints on the upcoming episode of SmackDown in Mexico City.
