With issues from injuries and low ticket sales surrounding WWE’s biggest time of year, officials could make the next four last-minute changes to Elimination Chamber on SmackDown.

#4. Nick Aldis makes a proclamation about interference

One thing that has marred each of WWE’s brands is chaos. Stars run amok on RAW, NXT, and SmackDown, attacking foes and causing havoc to planned matches.

Drew McIntyre has made sure Cody Rhodes wouldn’t win another shot at the Undisputed title despite already having a contract clause preventing Rhodes from being able to challenge as long as he has the belt.

Jacob Fatu attacks security weekly, and tear-apart brawls have become the norm. Aldis could threaten fines, suspensions, or terminations if anyone dares to interfere in Elimination Chamber matches.

#3. Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu is added to Elimination Chamber

As fans have witnessed over the last few months, Fatu is irate with McIntyre and has done everything he can to get his hands on The Scottish Warrior.

McIntyre has repeatedly denied attacking Fatu, but that hasn’t stopped him from going after the champ. Aldis has been more sympathetic to Fatu despite his repeatedly assaulting security.

He even gave him a pep talk last week after one of his outbursts. Fatu said his patience has run out, so Aldis could book a title match with McIntyre for Elimination Chamber.

#2. A heavy tease about WWE’s mystery crate

WWE’s mystery crate has ping-ponged between RAW and SmackDown. Neither Aldis nor Adam Pearce wants to deal with it, but they will have to once it’s opened at Elimination Chamber.

It could be anything, from new titles to debuting or returning stars, to an additional pod for the chamber contests. Aldis could peek inside or decide to open it on SmackDown.

The actual reveal could be saved for the PLE. The crate is large enough for that to be the case. Adding a seventh star would shake things up at the last minute and have fans talking.

#1. One of the Chamber participants attacked and replaced

One major thing that’s happened in each of the last two years is that a participant has been removed from the match via an attack by a non-combatant.

AJ Styles attacked LA Knight in 2024, while Jade Cargill attacked Naomi last year before the Women’s match started.

An intriguing way to shake things up would be if one of the qualified participants is found lifeless after a backstage attack. It would open the door for a different name to be added.

If this happens, it would need to be someone like Rhodes or Je’Von Evans in the men’s match. With Alexa Bliss in the women’s Chamber, she could be taken out backstage and replaced by Charlotte Flair.
