The OTC plays a vital role in WWE, given that much of RAW revolves around him and his World Heavyweight Championship. Fans expect to see him every week, which leaves everyone questioning whether Roman Reigns will appear at the August 10 edition of RAW. For now, the answer seems no.

The Tribal Chief has not been advertised for this week’s Monday Night RAW. However, there is a positive update for fans of The Tribal Chief. He is officially advertised for the August 17 episode of the red brand. Which means The OTC only has a week off for now.

Roman Reigns will defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship before Money in the Bank 2026

On the post-SummerSlam episode of RAW, Hall of Famer and AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio shook hands with Roman Reigns, expressing his willingness to work with him.

Mysterio announced that The Original Tribal Chief will be defending his WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the September 14 edition of RAW in Mexico City against the winner of an eight-man luchador tournament.

Qualifying matches are set to begin on the red brand show. It features stars such as Penta, Laredo Kid, Psycho Clown, La Parka, Dragon Lee, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Rey Fénix, and El Fiscal.

It will be interesting to see what plans Triple H and his creative team have in store for Reigns in the coming weeks.
