Liverpool will welcome Wolves in what will be Jurgen Klopp’s farewell game at Anfield this Sunday.

The legendary German boss announced back in January that he would leave the club at the end of the season following a trophy-laden tenure in Merseyside, with Feyenoord head coach Arne Slot waiting on the wings to replace him in the hotseat.

The Reds faithful will look to give their beloved outgoing manager a resounding send-off in his final game in the Anfield dugout.

The hosts sit in third place in the Premier League table heading into the final round of fixtures, seven points adrift of second-placed Arsenal. Wolves, meanwhile, occupy 13th place and need a win to possibly break into the top ten.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch it across the world, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Liverpool vs. Wolves lineups, team news

Klopp has resisted the urge to ring the changes during the final weeks of his reign, and it would be a surprise if he overly tinkered with his resources for his final match.

Joel Matip has been absent since December and is set to leave on a free transfer this summer. Bobby Clark is injured, while Thiago Alcantara is another who has played his last Liverpool game due to being on the sidelines. Meanwhile, Stefan Bajcetic isn’t ready for a start after spending a long time on the sidelines.

After missing out with a minor injury against Villa, Andy Robertson is expected to return at left-back, where the versatile Joe Gomez impressed as a deputy ahead of Kostas Tsimikas. Trent Alexander-Arnold will hold his place ahead of Conor Bradley on the right.

Diogo Jota was expected to be back for the trip to Villa, but now he appears increasingly unlikely to feature again this campaign due to injury. That leaves four into three up front, with the big question being whether Darwin Nunez is handed only a second start in a month.

Otherwise, Klopp will almost certainly keep faith in the attack, which features Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz, and the in-form Cody Gakpo.

Liverpool predicted XI (4-3-3, right to left): Alisson — Alexander-Arnold, Quansah, Van Dijk, Robertson—Elliott, Endo, Mac Allister—Salah, Gakpo, Diaz

Liverpool subs (9): TBC

Wolves boss Gary O’Neil will be without the services of Craig Dawson (groin) and Leon Chiwone (ankle) for the trip to Anfield. The game may also come too soon for Liverpool-linked Pedro Neto, who is dealing with a hamstring issue.

Wolves predicted XI (3-5-2 right to left): Sa (GK) — S. Bueno Toti, Kilman— Semedo, Doyle, Gomes, M. Lemina, Ait-Nouri— Hwang, Cunha.

Liverpool vs. Wolves prediction

Liverpool will undoubtedly want to send Klopp off with a thumping victory against a relatively weakened Wolves side, who also have only pride to play for in the final game of the campaign.

Given the emotions involved and Liverpool’s impressive record at Anfield, a big win for the Reds seems likely. The Sporting News predicts a 3-0 win for Liverpool, ensuring Klopp’s tenure ends on a high note.

Prediction: Liverpool 3-0 Wolves
