The NASCAR Cup Series begin the first race weekend of the Round of 12 with practice and qualifying on Saturday at Kansas Speedway ahead of Sunday’s Hollywood Casino 400.
Four drivers were cut from the playoff field after last week’s race at Bristol, including former champions Martin Truex Jr. and Brad Keselowski as well as Joe Gibbs Racing’s Ty Gibbs and Wood Brothers Racing’s Harrison Burton.
All four Hendrick Motorsports drivers and three Team Penske drivers are in the Round of 12.
