Veteran wrestling personality Vince Russo spoke about his new gig at Juggalo Championship Wrestling. The former WWE and WCW writer recently showed up at JCW.
Vince Russo recently revealed that was had joined the promotion as a booker. He also invested his own money into the company, making him an investor and an integral part of the brand.
This week on BroDown with host Mac Davis, Vince Russo clarified that he started working in JCW with members of the Insane Clown Posse. He ruled out working for any of the major promotions. The veteran writer explained that he could never work with Billy Corgan of the NWA. He also noted that, after everything he has said about WWE, working there was not a possibility either. Vince also sarcastically commented that Tony Khan had everything under control in AEW and didn’t need his help.
“I worked with Violent J last night of the Insane Clown Posse in Juggalo Championship Wrestling. And bro, let me tell you something, this is where these people are absolutely clueless. If they know me, they know that’s a place I would go. I would never work with Billy Corgan in a million years. Nothing against Billy bro. I know how Billy is. You really think I would ever go back and work in WWE, NXT, or any of those companies? Really? Everything I’ve said about them, you really think I would go back there? And then you got Tony Khan. We all know Tony Khan doesn’t need help from anybody. Tony Khan knows what he’s doing. Tony Khan is getting those ratings up through the roof. So when you think about it, it makes all the sense in the world.”
With this new gig, Vince Russo is confident of bringing a change to the business by addressing real-world issues through pro wrestling.
