The Cincinnati Bengals have built one of, if not the best wide receiver room in the NFL thanks to the talent of Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
While the duo is supremely talented, wide receivers coach Troy Walters deserves a ton of credit for developing the two once they got to the NFL.

Teams around the league appear to also value Walters’ work, as he has become a candidate for multiple offensive coordinator positions in recent years. Most recently, the Chicago Bears reached out to Walters about their offensive coordinator position, but Walters declined to interview, according to CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones.
Walters interviewed for the Houston Texans’ offensive coordinator position a few years back but stayed in Cincinnati. Now, he heads into Year 7 with the Bengals, looking to continue the run of success with not only Chase and Higgins, but also the emergence of Andrei Iosivas as the third receiver in a pass-heavy offense.
Walters may go on to be a coordinator in the NFL, but not this season.
