Triple H is the Chief Operating Officer of WWE, but he also has close friends within the company, despite being seen as the boss.

One star that Triple H has always been close friends with is Sheamus, whom he recently sent congratulations out to ahead of WWE RAW. The Irish star reached a million subscribers on his YouTube channel, Celtic Warrior Workouts.

“Congratulations to @WWESheamus & his Celtic Warrior Workouts channel on reaching ONE MILLION subscribers on YouTube! #BraveChange,” Hunter wrote.

The WWE COO and Sheamus have been close friends since the Irish star joined WWE in 2009, and The Game took him under his wing. The two men then became workout buddies and continue to have a close relationship, as evidenced by the veteran’s recent return on RAW.

Sheamus’ YouTube channel features him sharing regular videos of his workouts with some of the biggest stars in the company. It seems that this has been a massive hit with WWE fans, and The Celtic Warrior has now reached 1.1 million subscribers in the time it took for him to receive the award from YouTube.

Sheamus has opened up about his relationship with Triple H in the past

Sheamus’ friendship with The Game has caused him some issues in recent years, something that he was able to address whilst speaking on the After The Bell podcast back in 2020.

“When I first started, Triple H was there, and he took me under his wing. We went on a tour of Australia. I didn’t know anybody. I was on SmackDown but got switched to a tour of RAW for a tour of Australia in 2009. He said, ‘you don’t know anybody, so if you want to go to the gym and work out, I can watch your matches and give you any feedback,’ and I was blown away. If you do that now, everybody in NXT does that now, and there is not one peep said about it. They all go online. You see Finn Balor, Tommaso Ciampa and Adam Cole talk about Triple H. I never went out there and pushed it out there.”

Sheamus explained that when it was revealed he was Hunter’s workout buddy, there was an assumption that he was only pushed on-screen because of this.
