The Anointed One has been embroiled in a heated rivalry with Baron Corbin since the latter’s WWE comeback. At SummerSlam, The Lone Wolf defeated Williams for the United States Championship. To make matters worse for the duo, Yachty was attacked by Corbin during the contest.
This week on SmackDown, Williams demanded a United States Championship rematch from The Lone Wolf. However, Corbin said The Anointed One didn’t deserve a title shot after losing to him twice.
